Barbara served in the US Army for a total of four years. She was awarded the Good Conduct medal and the National Defense Service Medal during the time of her military service. Following military service she became a Civil Service employee and retired from Fort Meade, Maryland. Barbara attended the dedication and opening ceremony of the "Women in the Military Memorial" and is registered there.
Barbara and her husband, Raymond Sellers, were married on March 3, 1962. He was also a career Army veteran. They faithfully loved and served our country.
