He was born December 19, 1938 in Martinsville, VA to the late Homer Allen Croom, Sr. and Ida Lillian Coleman Croom. Homer graduated from Martinsville High School in 1957 and attended VPI. He married the love of his life, Freeda Jones Croom in 1963. They moved to Knightdale, NC in 1979 and he owned and operated Coastal Bike Supply in Wendell. Homer was very involved in the community and BMX Racing events.
Homer Allen "H.A." Croom, Jr., 83, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at his home. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Freeda; and his son, Homer Allen "Trip" Croom III and wife Valerie.
