Harper Park Improvements!
We are proud to announce the beginning of the Harper Park Improvement Project! Crews are setting up fences for the construction coming to our park on Main Street here in Knightdale as of today. With this project comes many new amenities including a new restroom and office facility, renovated office building which will be the new home for the Knightdale Parks and Recreation Department and Knightdale Police Substation, two resurfaced Tennis courts, two new Tennis courts, two new Pickleball courts, and new sports lights for night play.
The Tennis courts will close and remain closed today, 10/30 through the end of construction which should be approximately 6 months. We do not foresee any traffic issues due to construction, and will keep you updated should any arise.
