On February 16, 2022, the Town Council approved a Zoning Map Amendment and Master Plan for a fourth phase of the Haywood Glen subdivision. The new phase is located on the 33 acre parcel on Old Knight Rd. and Horton Rd, directly north of Haywood Glen Phases 1 and 2. The plan features 107 single-family lots, with a mix of both front and alley loaded homes, and a 1.5 acre parcel for future commercial development. DR Horton continues to be the builder and proposes the same housing product and elevations that are currently being built in Phases 1, 2 and 3.
The ZMA rezoned the parcel from Rural Transition to General Residential 3 (GR3) and Residential Mixed Use (RMX) with a Planned Unit Development.
